lements was created at the request of users who felt that there were too many "snow-like" plugins floating around. By combining them into one plugin, code efficiency has been greatly improved, and overall, it's less effort from "download" to "awesome".
Built on Ubuntu 8.04 using GEdit text editor, GIMP and Mozilla Firefox, Elements is truly based on the idea that computer software should be free (as in beer), free (as in speech) and most of all, secure. The images used in the YouTube videos, this site, and in the plugin have all been released under the GNU Public Licence (GPL). Please feel free to take anything from this site (including the site design itself, if you really want), edit it, improve it, and make it your own. I only hope that you will then release it under the same terms: free, free, and secure.
