Code reduction Complete (06/03/08)
Work on Elements is going quickly now that the background coding is complete. Tonight I finished the reduction of the code (15%, still bigger than I wanted), and am working on making sure the CCSM schema looks good. I've started testing amongst a few lucky people and tomorrow I hope to finish the install scripts. This means that (dare I say it) Elements could be released as soon as THIS WEEKEND. Believe me, after 6 months of work and more restarts than Windows Vista (FIVE to be exact), I am incredibly relieved to be on the home stretch. Now I get to start my next plugin, which will make Autumn and Elements look like Red Hat 3.
In case you haven't noticed, I'm "advertising" Cubes of Glory all over my site. There's a reason for that. A good friend of mine filmed that movie a few months ago and I don't think it's gotten the credit it deserves. Check it out. The Cubes website may be uglier than Rosie O'Donnell, the videos are worth it.
Have a great day,
Pat
